Anyone know of any good online web retailers that sell a variety of 29" tires?

2 IRCs, 1 Kenda f/r, 2 WTBs (shipping included in prices):

aebike.com has the best prices on WTBs...I think they also have the IRC.

Thanks all...I've been web crawling for months to find a place that sells this stuff online.

Since the prices are included in shipping on speedgoat and not on aebike it seems that when shipping to CA there is almost no difference in ordering one nano. However when ordering two nanos the savings at aebike jumps to $7.

as a shop owner and someone who rides his 29" like it's going out of style, let me inform you that if you buy from a local shop and show some love they will tend to listen to you when stocking and pricing. The tires(29") are a gamble to stock due to undercutting internet "shops". Remember...if you don't support the local kids...they'll have a hard time hooking you up when you need something in a pinch. Just some food for thought.

However, not all areas are fortunate enough to have a lbs stock 29" tires. I believe I own 6 29"er tires, 4 of which came from local retailers. I think I want to buy a couple of those Kendas, but I would guess no SF bay area lbs is stocking them yet. Anyone know differently?

Interesting, I race for a shop and they don't stock the 29er tires.

The shop you race for probably has a QBP account and they have a selection of 29" tires available. I agree with Eroman, support your local store if possible, but they have to know their clients needs and anticipate them also. 29" tires have been available for 4 years now afterall and it is not like there are that many styles to choose from for stocking purposes.

I much rather buy from a LBS, and in many cases mine will get close to price matching the internet dealers. But when it comes to 29er stuff they all say "I can order it". At least thats the way it goes here.

I was reading another thread about what people think or say when people see the the 29er. I just laugh when I go the bike shop and ask 29er questions and they say--"they are really cool. here is a last years mt tam on sale. unless you want some 700c road tires for it, that is all the 29er stuff we have"

I guess the hype hasn't hit Indy yet.
