I've got a Trek hybrid that has 38c tires with alot of clearance between the chainstays and on the fork, close to an inch. Would any real off-road tires fit on this bike?

WTB Mutanoraptor 700x44 may work on your Trek, they do on my Bianchi. Order from your LBS. They are great on the hardpack but sink and spin in deep mud.
