| My new ride | joe29 Jun 14, 2003 8:55 AM | | The wait is over. Got my new Hunter 29er last week & I'm in love. Was previously on a Fisher Mt Tam. Hunter specs are 72/73, 11.9" BB, 24.5" top tube, 17.125 chainstays. No more slow steering & knocking my pedals on rocks - hooray! Smooth riding, telepathic handling - the tighter wheelbase & shorter front center from the 72 degree head angle really helped a lot.
Check out the sweet details like continuous rear derailleur housing from the top tube to rear derailleur, curvy Yeti-esque rear disc mount, swoopy wishbone rear end, and flat black powdercoat paint. The White Brothers BW.8 rides nice - and the lockout is excellent. OK, I'm gonna go ride now. |

Nice ride BTW. |

It's just the most wonderfull ride I've gotten. Rick is great to work with as well. I love the flat black, I may have to send mine back to redone-my baby-poo yella is kinda getting old and beat up already. Nice looking rig Joe! |
