Tentative 2.1+ tires sizes for 2005...Padre

This might not be new news for some..
I emailed WTB regarding bigger 29er tires...
Here's the response I got...

Dear Erik,
Your prayers may be answered as we are considering doing a larger 29" tire
for 2005. It largely depends on inquiries from customers like you and the
overall success of the 29" market.

Fred Falk

Hey there at WTB. Thanks for making great, quality products. My wife and I
own 5 mountian bikes and all of them have WTB products on them. All 5 run
WTB saddles and at least 3 run WTB tires or tubes. We trust that your
products are intelligently produced with quality and longevity in mind.
One thing though, as far as a suggestion.
I have begun riding a 29er singlespeed and have begun unloading my 26 inch
bikes. I run a 2.1 Nano on the rear and a 2.1 Moto on the front. I am
dying though for a bigger 29er tire! Please!!! A 2.3 or even a 2.5 would be
awesome. I like riding my 29er rigid at times..but the tiny 2.1 tire is
very abusive.
For what it's worth I thought I would throw in my suggestion. I'd be in
line for a few sets of tires when they hit the market!
Thanks
Erik

I would love to have some 2.4" rubber between my CX-1 stanchions. I guess I should drop WTB a line and tell them so.
