No, the bottom brackets are not compatible. LX 572 requires the ES51 series with 121 or 126mm spindles while the XT 752 uses the ES71 with 113 or 118mm spindles. |

Jan 13, 2004 7:02 AM | | After much internal strife and debate, I followed the advice of F'naetik (a biker formally known as Naestep) and have been quite satisfied. I'd even go further and say that the LX is better all the way around. As far as I can tell, it is almost the exact same crankset (04lx vs. 03xt) except you get a steel granny on the LX, which IMO is much better, more durable.
I took Naestep's advice and have never regretted it for a minute. Now I just can't wait to wear out my StrongArm II's on the other bike to switch it over.
