Most shops have stopped carrying them in Vancouver, but then, we don't do a lot of XC, but then again, mine would NOT stay in place for the short amount of pedaling I do. Fellow riders had the same remarks.

I've also taken them DHing, and they have done well for me there too, though after a crash i could see the part where my shin would have hit a rock as there was a nice friction burn and some skin missing, better than hitting a rock w/o protection.

but that's just me, I'm sure others like them, and a guy yesterday was really pleased to grab mine 2nd hand from me.
They might have been fine but I couldn't keep them in place. |
