| Mtn Bkr needs help buying a BMX . | Notnub Nov 5, 2003 5:00 PM | | I'm a 6'0 180lb downhill racer/freerider and I've been riding my dirt jumping hardtail at the local skatepark .
I now want to buy a BMX so I can do grinds and genrally use the park better , I will most likely use it for some street riding too .
Any help with brands to look at as well as sizing for someone my size would be greatly appreciated . I'm looking to buy a high end bike to a void having to upgrade later or suffer durability problems.
Thank's in advance. |
| Check out DK. | condolences Nov 5, 2003 5:27 PM | | I am about your size and picked up a DK Dayton about six months ago after asking around about decent companies. I have upgraded a lot, but mostly out of preference and not really knowing what I wanted up-front (i.e. no durability issues). I couldn't find fault with any of the OEM parts, and if I wanted a street bike, I'd buy another DK in a flash. |
