Can you guys recommend some bikes for me to look into? Also, what size top tube should I be looking for in a 20" BMX bike? I take it that 3pc cranks are something to look for right? What else is key?
Any info would be most appreciated.

My preference has leaned towards a dirt jumper that can be ridden in street and parks with simple tire changes. I don't grind so pegs aren't an issue but you cna always add those to most DJ bikes. That said, I'd look for something that is a somewhat lighter weight (being a very relative term). Maybe something just under 30 lbs. 3 piece cranks are definitely the way to go btw. As far as mfgs are concerned, there are so many good one's but I particularly think Haro may be the best value for what you want to spend. |
