I am getting a RB brake booster (v-brake)
It may not be coming with the spacers and possibly bolts.
Are all spacers standard for all boosters? Does this mean I can buy them froma any hardware shop?
If so what is the size?
How many will I need?
I've used brake pad adjustment washers...næstep

These are the concave washers/spacers/adjusters that fit between the shoe and the brake arm. Use them concave side up (towards the booster). They'll give you about 5mm spacing.

MOST shops have a ton of various size spacers lying about, anywhere from 1mm washers to 5mm chainring spacers. They run about 25 cents apiece.

Otherwise, you can use anything with a flat surface to space them out, as long as it doesn't interfere with the operation of the brake arms.

Bolt wise, you'll have problems if your booster doesn't come with them. If it's a NEW booster, it should......
