Anyone Try Avid Mech. Disc Brakes with XT lever/shifter PodsAxis

???
I have the XT brake lever and shifter pods combo. I am thinking about getting the AVID disks. Any problems, sugestions, horror stories, etc. with these lever/shifter pods and the Avid discs?
Thanks in advance!

I use the Avid Mechanical disks with Avid Speed Dial 7 levers. They work great. I haven't used these brakes w/ the XT levers, but as long as they are the XT V-Brake levers they will work just fine...at least that's what I'm told.
They'll work fine.heff®

You can use any V brake lever with the Avids, with no worries. The only thing that you'll be missing compared to Avid's levers is the Speed Dial adjustment, compared to your three-position plug setup.

I've got an Avid hooked up to an XTR lever, it works just great.

You'll be happy.
