hope disc installation on 2002 psylo slpc
Sep 21, 2001 9:10 PM
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has installed hope (2-piston closed) brakes on a 2002 psylo. I'm having a problem in that the spokes of my wheels are hitting the brake body. I have no room to move the body away from the wheel. Any help would be appreciated,

Peter

Hope told him to file the caliper until it clears, then shim the rotor if necessary. Is the caliper mounted directly to the fork without shims? His was and thats why he had to file the caliper.

Dont file the calliper, the problem you have is because the c2 is quite wide. They generally only work with Hope hubs, Ive also heard of Chris King hubs working so rather than stuff the calliper change your hubs.
