Jenson has '00 Avid SD20s for $17/ea. Is this a good brake for the money? Any other suggestions for good/cheap brakes? I'm pretty sure I want Avid. Thanks for any advice!

I think they suck John. You need to spend more money or else you're not a true mountainbiker. Go buy yourself a set of Hayes hydraulic and stop whining!
