Hayes Adapter(3 posts)

I'm looking for a Hayes adapter for an 8" disc on a 2000 Marz Z1 QR20. The part numbers on the Hayes site don't work, and my LBS is having some problems locating. Any ideas? On the Hayes site the adapter for the 6" for the 2000 QR20 has the correct mounting to the fork, but the 8" shows the fork as having disc tabs, which it doesn't have. The adapter must mount directly on the fork lower.

You need to get the adapter from Marzocchi. I know, it sucks, I had to do the same thing. The 2000 Z1 doesn't ship with the adapter, go figure. If you bought your fork from a dealer, they should be able to order the Marzocchi adapter for you. I got nicked about $25 for mine. Then the Hayes adapter will mount up to the Marzocchi adapter.
