| I e-mailed.................. | Mike T.® Jan 9, 2002 1:37 PM | | .....Magura USA on this and their stand is still the same - Clara is not being brought into N.America this year and they don't know where Superslow is getting them.
Just be careful they are not OEM stuff with incomplete mounting equipment and no guarantee.

| That model is the '02 | JimC Jan 9, 2002 2:07 PM | | "Clarabell" model...as in *clown*...they work *funny*.
Supergo up to old tricks again with OEM funny stuff? Sure sounds like it.

| I'm sensing OEM........... | heff® Jan 10, 2002 5:14 AM | | ....and I'll be willing to bet you'll get them in a plastic bag, no box, no manual, and none of the extra parts Magura packages with them. They did the same thing with the Avids, sent them out with no box, no front adapter, and, in some cases, no rotor bolts.
Hey, you pays for what you gets.
Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from SuperEgo if you had a gun pressed against my forehead.

| re: 2002 Magura Claras | frogztar Jan 24, 2002 4:51 AM | | I bought them last week. They come in boxes, all marked with the Magura-logo, installing instructions on every major language (not true) and the 5 year warranty. They do not seem to be the 2002 model, though. The caliper looks like the 2001 model (red/silver), but the handle looks like the new 2002 style (silver composite). Maybe the aftermarket 2001s came with that lever? Still a good price for a 2001. What's about the SuperSLOW business? The shipment was TWO working days to Norway! |
