Maybe they are given different designations in Europe and America, but I cant find any reviews of Shimano M525 hydraulic disc brakes. They come as standard on the Specialized Enduro range over here. So anyone used them or have any info on how good they are?

.......the Deore disk brakes. They're adequate, not really much better than a good set of V's. They're designed as an entry level brake, so by design they don't have the power of a Hayes or Avid disk.

They're alright, seem well built, a bit cheap looking on the rotors, and the levers aren't as nice as the XT level, but a good starter disk setup. I'm lookin' at one of those Enduros for my girlfriend (since she rides the same size frame as me......hehehehehe), but I'll be swapping the Deore brakes for either another set of Avid mechanicals or the Magura Julies I'm running right now.
