Gene (spicercycles.com) built this for a customer. I think this is the most interesting use of Avids I have seen so far!!

course its a DH wheelchair with cable splitters and what looks like 8" discs, however the calipers were avid.

That's a Hannebrink-style extreme bike, uses ATV tires. This one is obviously built for long distance excursions.

there is only one !!! Custom built 2 wheel drive bike from Gene Spicer. Wanna bet it will have red Oury grips when it gets delivered tonight ?

ps. Gene came bye the place today to pick up some grips and other stuff and I asked him about this bike. He was super startled that I knew about it. lol
