'99 Zokie Z3 QRQ 20 - twisted ?man w/ one hand
Jul 10, 2002 8:39 AM
If I look down the stantions of my fork, I noticed the bottom of the
left leg is further back than the right. Could this be due to stress
& torque from my disc, (6" Avid)? I have loosened the qr & tried to
lock it down squared-up but, it didn't help. I have also put new bolts in the arch,
but it didn't help when I tried to square it up then either.
It's like the forks are twisted from the crown down.
About 1yr ago I had the plungers/springs changed to give it 5"
o'travel, is this a factor ?
Any ideas ? New Fork ?
I'm posting in other forums also, so don't go bullistic if you see
this again in the other forums.

Thanks for any & all help.

I haven't looked at your other post(s). I'll suggest loosening the crown pinch bolts on the "twisted" side and rotate the upper with your hand. If it's bent you'll be able to see it as the lower moves around. I think you can do this. Remove the arch first.
