| '99 Zokie Z3 QRQ 20 - twisted ? | man w/ one hand Jul 10, 2002 8:39 AM | | If I look down the stantions of my fork, I noticed the bottom of the
left leg is further back than the right. Could this be due to stress
& torque from my disc, (6" Avid)? I have loosened the qr & tried to
lock it down squared-up but, it didn't help. I have also put new bolts in the arch,
but it didn't help when I tried to square it up then either.
It's like the forks are twisted from the crown down.
About 1yr ago I had the plungers/springs changed to give it 5"
o'travel, is this a factor ?
Any ideas ? New Fork ?
I'm posting in other forums also, so don't go bullistic if you see
this again in the other forums.
Thanks for any & all help. |

If it's bent you'll be able to see it as the lower moves around. I think you can do this. Remove the arch first.
