New wheels = new rotor?(2 posts)

New wheels = new rotor?mtncranker

I'm building up a set of light weight disc wheels (CK, 317s), and am wondering if I need to get a new rotor for my Avid mechanicals as well. Nothing wrong with the old one, just wondering if there's any god reason not to swap the rotor across.
No need for a new rotor....AndyH

...unless the old one is significantly worn or you're building up a new disc wheelset and are planning on keeping your old disc wheelset as well.
