Hayes Bleed. Air in Caliper(1 post)

Hayes Bleed. Air in Calipermkl22
Jul 16, 2002 6:55 AM
Hi

would like to find out if there are any other ways other than using the Hayes bleeder kit and the method as explained in the website to get air out of the calipers. I have no problems with getting air out of the lines, but the air in the caliper is a real pain to remove. Am not currently using the hayes bleeder kit. If you force fluid(using syringe) from the bottom of the caliper to the top of the master cylinder, it will only get the air in the lines out,but not air in the caliper. If you do the pumping method for the hayes bleed kit bottle with the sryinge, how are you going to get the air in the syringe out?
