anyone have a pic of a worn disc pad that I can check mine from? What's the average life-span on hayes pads?
A pic won't really help....AndyH

...what you need to consider is how thick your pads are. Once they reach a certain limit, it's time to change them.

Consult your Owner's Manual or contact Hayes customer service for that information.

Hayes Life in mud and wet in BC is about 6-8 months riding 2 x a week, same on my Magura Louises and Gustavs.

In dry areas, they may last forever. If the pads are worn to less than a few mm left of abrasive, throw them out and put on new ones.
