Welding disc mounts to seatstay???Bobby_Digital

Do any companies/shops do custom welding of aluminum disc mounts to the seatstays? If so, how much does it cost? Can they do the fork too? Please send me links! Thanks:)

Gene Spicer at spicercycles.com. He can probably weld disc tabs onto your seatstay, depending on the type of aluminum your frame is made out of. But nobody will weld disc tabs onto your fork. You'll have to get a new fork.

frames sure, forks probably not.DeeEight

Problem with forks is that the sliders are often cast magnesium or made out of otherwise non-weldable aluminium alloy. Better to get a bolt-on mount custom made.
