|   Help! brake squeeeeel on new ellsworth!!!!!!!!!!!! | ricochet
Nov 16, 2002 4:53 PM | | My new ellsworth had XT brakes on it but the front squeeled reel bad so I put Avid 25's on the front; problem fixed. Then the back started to squeel a little so I put Avid 7's on the rear(that is what the bike shoppe had) now they squeel even worse than the XT's. Just the rear brakes are squeeling. I did read in the reviews on this site that the XT's squeel so that is why I changed. Any suggestions on what I can try next, and no I don't want to go disc.
By the way I have Bontrager race lite ceramic rims and ceramic pads.
