Nov 16, 2002 5:16 PM | | I noticed my rear Avid rotor is getting fairly concave from wear. Probably due to grinding down from mud more in the rear than the front ever gets (the front is nearly like new in comparison).
I've seen a failed rotor and I'd hate to have it happen hours away from home and possibly days from replacement. Maybe I'll just do preventative maintenance and replace it now.
Just curious if anyone has noticed any changes before failure.
