warped rotor(1 post)

warped rotoredster

Interesting problem...

I have Hope O2's (front 185mm, rear 165mm)on four bolt coda hubs. The rotor is warped a bit and i true it from time to time. Now here is the problem, after i true it, it will warp again (or go out of true) after the first time heating up.

Is there any way that i can anneal or otherwise remove the built up stresses from truing? What temp would i have to take the rotor to? I can do 500 degrees F, no problem with an oven at work, but i am not sure what that would do to the rotor.

Thanks for your help!
ED
