| IS adapter for Marz. Z3 LT and Deore Hyd. Brake | James Mar 22, 2003 3:17 PM | | Ok so I got a FR Deore disc brake. So figuring a Internation Standard was a uh...standard and all I was suprised to see the holes for mounting don't line up. There is about a 1cm diff. Does anyone know the adapter type I would be looking for? I've gone through the list here and can't find any concrete info: http://www.bikeman.com/catalog/brakediscadapter.htm
I have a Marzocchi Z3 Long Travel (99 or 00 I can't rememeber but the LT was only one year.), the brake is a Deore hydraulic front.
Any help is greatly appreciated! |
| You need to get a Marz adapter me thinks.... | Monte Mar 22, 2003 3:54 PM | | Earlier Marz forks didn't come with a disc brake mount it seems. You'll need to find one of those for your fork. I can't remember where I found mine, but it was around $25. Once you've got that mounted your Deore's should mount right up. That adapter isn't part of the Int'l Standard, it's Marz all the way.
