Mar 22, 2003 5:41 PM | | My bike came equipped with Shimano M420 brakes. After 2 years of hard ridding I decided to replace them. I purchaced Shimano XT V brakes, however I am having a problem fitting them to my frame on the back right ( looking at the bike from behind). The bolt hole is bigger than the bolts that came with the XT's. The fronts are fine. What do I need to do? Are these brakes installable on Adept Comp's? Please help. Thanks |

| I bet the brake bosses unthreaded from the frame... | shiggy

If this is the case, the bosses will still be in your old brakes. Remove them and reinstall on your frame (use LocTite). |
