Mar 25, 2003 8:40 AM | | I've just been offered a NOS set of Magura HS-22 for $50 by the LBS cleaning out their old inventory.
Please offer any install tips or post pics of your setup.
I heard that the booster can cause tire rub and metal snipers should be used to trim one side to prevent this.
I am currently running Panaracer 2.1 tires, but want to switch over the some Maxxis 2.35 this summer. Will the HS brake booster accomodate for such a big tire?
Also, do these brakes have the potential to damage an aluminum 4 bar linkage frame, like a Stumpie FSR? |

The inner booster hole can contact wide tires and may be sawn off and filed away.
Pat T. posted about wide tires and HS brakes around here a few days ago. Do a search.
