Avid pads come with retainer spring?zero

Hello, I recently wore down my first set if Avid mech brake pads. During that time the retainer spring also died. I ordered a set of aztec pads because they were cheaper, thinking that they came with a spring, but when they arrived I realized that they do not come with the spring. I am prepared to order a set of the Avid pads, but I just want to make sure that they come with a spring. If they do not, please direct me to where a spring could be obtained. Thanks
They should.Tscheezy

I have received a few sets of the new Avid C4 pads and they came with H-spring clips. Just make sure you buy recent pads (like the C4's). If you order some, ask what type they are and what is in the package.

Are those pads as easy as the instructions make it sound to install? Is it simply pinch and pull em out?
Yup. Just shove it all in as a pad sandwitch. nmTscheezy
