Can anyone tellme what is needed to mount a floating brake on a Gemini frame? Will I need a special hub? Thank you.

There is a company called Therapy Components that makes a floating brake kit that fits a lot of bikes. I'm pretty sure that it will a gemini, but you can email them at forks@therapycomponents.com and ask. When you get the kit, depending on the hub you have, you just have to remove the spacer on the left side of the huh (non-drivetrain side) and insert a needle bearing spacer that the floating brake rides on. Then just secure the arm to your frame with an included clamp and your good to go. I've looked into this kit for my new bullit and have emailed them, but still no response. Good Luck.

Oh yeah, here is a pick of the kit on a Bullit.

Yes, it's basically the same as the Bullit floater. Compatible hubs are any DT, Hugi, Hayes, Magura, Ringle, Hope (except big'un) or Hadley. With the Hadley, we can provide a 10 mm aluminum or steel thru axle that works with qr dropouts.

Hey [ELiXER}, sorry for the delay responding to e-mail, I was cruising mtbr.com instead of working, but I'll catch up tonight, or call 765 528-2138. We do have those in stock.
