| Help w/ a Hayes hydro that turns mushy.. | Locoman Mar 31, 2003 8:30 AM | | For some reason my back brake (hayes hydro) slowly turns to mush. It happens slowly over about a months time. It's nice and firm after bleeding, but then changes.
My guess is that I'm getting air in there. Any ideas on how to go about fixing that? |
| Check brake lines | BalleRacing Apr 1, 2003 8:32 PM | | Maybe the brake lines are a little loose ( don't overtighten) or maybe the piston seals are old. Check your bleed screw port O-ring for cracks, air may be comming in from there. |
