Read my Magura Cult page!

Follow - self adj brakes/brake drag.

after killing a rock with rear rotor and not being able to get it right, I removed the brake caliper so the wheel/rotor could spin freely.

I found it easier to see (with my failing old eyes) what I was doing and easier to use a crecent wrench to pull the rotor back to true. this may be specific to Gustav as they drag slightly in normal mode, so I was never sure where the pads were holding the rotor, or not.

....as the pads, with Gustav, actually touch the rotor by design then there is no gap between pad and rotor to use as a "gauge". Then "my" method would be harder to use.

Good point Jim and I should include that on my Cult pages.

Paul Morningstar of "Morningstar Freehub Buddy" fame markets a dial indicator setup to true discs. This would be perfect for Gus. I have one, it works 100% but it's just very slow to use compared to the Quickie method on my site.
