How do I enlarge cable stops?Stw

I have a RacerX...how do I enlarge the brake cable stops on the top tube to accept hydrolic lines? Using a drill doesn't work cuz the chuck rubs the TT, any idea? or forget it and just use those adapters?
Oh, now where did I put that post...næstep

næstep inspired me to do the same to my frame......man w/ one hand

the post he hooked you up with is the reason too. He made it look plum
perfesshinol too. I didn't even need to tape up the surroundin' areas
on the last 3 stops. After the 1st one it felt natural. The "Dremel",
when weilded properly, allows the user wonderful control of the task @ hand.
It worked great & was A LOT easier than I expected it to be. I was worried
more over getting my derailuer adj. properly than "boogerin'up" my frame.
I did wait till it was out of warranty though. Go for it. I've
ridden some really nasty, muddy, wet rides since doing mine & it has paid off.

Good Luck ! Let us know how it works out.
Nate did a nice job with his BUT...Metroid

He is using Avid mechanicals with regular cable housing and cables. To feed hydraulic lines, you would have to diconnect the brake lines and bleed the brakes after hooking them back up. A royal p.i.t.a if you ask me and not worth it on a frame with the cable routing underneath the top tube. You won't even notice the adapters after they are installed.
"Butt" is spelled with two t'sSparty

So all is fair.

Butt anyway, that didn't quite read right, did it? Guess I need to fire my editor.

Next topic, please!

...and my "Perfect Butt" inserts are my little secret!!!

Now thankfully you didn't mention inserting hose or bleeding, otherwise I'd really be concerned! My Avid's avoid all than mess.
