Rear brake forces on my swingarm......Zernis
Jul 26, 2003 6:21 AM
Ok, a lil while back i bought a risse racing swingarm and hex link and some 8" hayes hfx 9's ...yestarday i was riding and looked back and watched the caliper as i put the brakes on...it moved forward evertime i hit the brakes....but it moved like everything..dropout and such....the dropouts on the them swingarms are replaceable...and were u put them on theres 3 screws......all these screws were pretty loose..i'm sure the brakes are the reason for this...thats crazy... after i inspected them all...so i took them all out and put some locktite on them...... and re tightened...and i let it sit...i didn't ride it since...but i will ride it today to see whats up...
