I'm trying to install the new brake system, but the front brake lever is not priming the system. Anyone know what to do in this case? HELP!!!!!

you've opened the bleed valve (i think it's 1/8 or 1/4 turn).

also, make sure you remove that rubber diaphram thingy from the resivoir. this diaphram is to be placed into the resivoir once you've primed and bled the system (when you remove this rubber diaphram, you'll see the actual resivoir with the piston thingamajig at the bottom, you can see it pump/prime as you activate the lever). i say this because there was a guy earlier last week that didn't remove the diaphram and he also couldn't prime his system either 'til he figured it out for himself. cheers and good luck.

I mistook the gasket for the actual reservoir. The Shimano diagrams don't call this out and the illustration isn't very accurate. Since the black rubber gasket had a well in, I just thought you fill it!
Dumb me...maybe this post will help someone else.

The XTR disc brakes are working awesome...as well as the blur in general. Super bike!
