185 mm Avid set do I still need a adapter ?????Festus

or is the bracket allready longer since the fork mount are all the same. If I order the 185 mm set it should have the right adapter with it. right????? Think a Talas can take that??????

185mm brake kit comes with 185mm IS adapters. Only time a special adapter is required is when you're mounting a caliper to a Post Mount Manitou fork with a 185 or 203mm rotor, in which case you need to get the correct adapter aftermarket.

Yes it can. Fox reportedly (seen on here by someone) allows the Avid 185mm to be used on their forks without voiding warranty (manual says less than 180mm disc rotor).

And my Vanilla RLC and the Avid 185 are a great match. Heck, maybe a little too good. I have yet to really push either of them hard after 4 months of owning them.
