Driving in the rain...easy to remember why went to discs.Danny

Getting in the last of the prefreezing drives in. Unseasonably warm here in Michigan...up near 50 degrees. Riding in a slight mist with a bike that has been upgraded to discs in the front but still carries the original rim brakes in the rear. A touch of the front lever instantly slows the bike. Pulling on the rear lever and you can feel a dull tug during that slow process where the pads are drying off the rim....and there they go...just starting to bite....20 feet later. Brings back memories of anticipating a stop so that I could predry the rims....only you can't anticipate all stops. I'm upgrading the rear to disc this weekend.
