Jan 6, 2004 4:17 AM | | A friend of mine has just put them onhis Spider so I'll get the low down. They are supposedly 10g lighter, using the old mini levers and hoses. I'm wondering if they will sqeal less being single piece, perhaps without the 2 piece interface there is less to vibrate?

OK, seriously, Charles at Hammerhead Bikes just tried some and wasn't too impressed, saying not much difference from their previous ones. If you decide you want some though, he said he'd give a killer deal on the ones he tested. What I don't like about the new design, is the smaller rotor rim, not a good descion IMO. |
