| Turning our bike upside down | Dutch-Barry Jan 10, 2004 12:14 PM | | This one is for all those riders complaining about not being able to turn their bikes upside down when they use open system disc brakes. I am not so sure as to why you realy want to turn it upside down but you can do this without the air problems after. Just close the system by pulling the brake handle to your handlebars with a rubberband or whatever. The system is now closed and you won't have the air problem. Remember though, that if your brakes have automated wear adjustment for the pads it is a MUST to have your disc in place (so leave your wheels on the bike!)....any more complaints? Maybe just try to understand the systems, it helps! |

Didn't mean to turn your post upsidedown though, you made some good points. |

Granted I do own a workstand! :-) But I rarely if ever turn my bike upside down anyway. I just read some reviews that pointed out the weakness of not being able to turn it. That's why i posted...maybe I helped somebody. RIDE ON! |
