Floating Brake For The Big Hit?Cannon

Hi, does it make sense to mount a floating brake to a 4-bar rear?
Who actually owns the Braketherapy floating brake for the Big Hit?

Greetz from Austria,

See www.therapycomponents.com for the fit list. the BigHit is a Horst link design. These designs work very well under breaking loads, but a floating brake will help the braking performance slightly. It will not help like it will on a single pivot design, so the performance/weight/cost ratio may not be accepatable. From what I have read, it will help with any design, but more so on other designs. I say skip it, unless you feel that you need the rear end more active than it is already under heavy braking loads.

Thanx, that´s exactly what i think but i wonder if anybody already has purcased the therapycomponents floating brake and how it works.
I also would need some pictures ´cause i´m gonna build it myself.
