Gregg did respond down on the infamous "Go-ride pleas refrain from..." thread below so please lets all read his response before responding.

Just trying to keep the communication lines open and in sequence.

...which is why I was unable to post a response right away. And the #1 topic in the meeting?? What is engineering doing to increase the cripplingly slow load time.

I have seen scott@go-ride chime in many a time offering the best deals on forks etc.. to people asking questions about products. people ask questions and many times Scott says, yes its a good product and I have them in stock right now. call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or email me at xxx@go-ride.com. Regardless of any "old boys club" things we may or may not have going here, if a newcomer came in and did this we would all shell him or her, would we not? Of course we would! Scott seems like a good guy, but if he wants to advertize he should pay for a banner like the rest of the companies do. Thats just my personal opinions on it all.
Small correction...pyg

"Scott says, yes its a good product and I have them in stock right now. call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or email me at xxx@go-ride.com..." You're missing the last part of his posts: call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or email me at xxx@go-ride.com FOR MORE INFORMATION. I will admit that this certainly looks and probably is a kind of advertizing BUT he's still helping the person who's asking and that's what counts. I think that Gregg as to draw a line somewhere as to where he should allow "self-promoting" but I think scott sets a REALLY good example of what should be allowed.

Face it Rhino, Gregg made a huge mistake by opening his mouth. Managers MANAGE things, not ruin them. Gregg is helping to RUIN mtbr.

Sorry gregg, nothing against you as a person, just the fact that this site is starting to suck since you became so "hand's on".

Wish it wasn't so.....
Stop being so bitter you grouchy hermit!Acadian

Gregg's response.

In my post above I didn't point fingers it was just an attempt at cutting the beating about non-responses after he did in the thread below. Kind of like hosing a riot trying to dispurse the crowd...mob mentality, aint it great?

I did however voice my opinion in support of Scott and his lack of SPAM type posts. Chek it owt......it'z gud reed'n.

...unfortunately one of my roles here lately seems to be the "bad cop" roll.

BTW, Jed, I know it's nothing personal. I picked that up from our phone discussion. Forrest and John like ridin' w/you and PJ was sorry that you didn't go to Downieville the same weekend he did.

Wish it wasn't so too...
There is one thing I know you know about me.....Zonic Man

I like to stir the pot and open up discussion.

That is why I post such bold stuff constantly. Total shitstirer i am. Try to be a bit provacative, and say what I am thinking. In person or on the phone I tend to temper my thoughts.

And why I called you to express my concerns personally, calling you at your office and all.

I love you guys over there (that I know) but at the same time I don't want to see this kind of stuff happening on this board.

I am hoping for a d-ville ride soon too. You know why I did not go? Broken bike on my 'break in' ride. ouch.

I think MTBR is hurting more right now than before. Things are happening, and not for the best.

And Gregg, glad you did call scott personally. However, you f-ed up in the first place saying anything about it.

Later dude, all the best
Jed Peters, aka Zonic Man
