| Colorado Springs riders | ColoradoRider Sep 5, 2001 12:41 PM | | Hey guys I have forgotten where the northshore style stunts are in Palmer Park. I know I have ridden by them a couple of times, but now that I am ready to try them I can't seem to find 'em. Thanks in advance. |
| Well... | Pancho Sep 5, 2001 1:03 PM | | Are you shure you don't mean Ute Valley park? The riding there is very similiar to the riding in Palmer park, but as far as I know, there isn't any north shore stunts in Palmer park. I know well where the stunts are in ute Valley park, but because there have been some problems there lately (people are burrying boards with nails sticking up as to create flat tires and or injuries), I'm not going to give out the location over the internet. But, I would love to ride with you, and show you around. Infact, we are riding there at 4:30 today. I'll be on a Blue Big Hit with a SuperT. Also, have you ridden the stunts on the pipeline trail? I really like those better than any here in town. Plus, when you ride the pipeline, you get 15 miles of awesome technical downhilling, with a total of 4500 feet elevation loss, and about 10 feet of gain. We'll be shuttling that on Saturday. E-mail me in any case, because we are allways looking for more guys to ride with.

| In Palmer.. | ColoradoRider Sep 5, 2001 1:14 PM | | first one is a green painted ladder with a hairy 4ft drop out, this is only one u can see from the trail, but supposedly continues on down. I think the short guy with the shaved head that works at Old Towne can tell me how to find it. I have only ridden Ute valley once and found it small with only one really technical trail, come in soutwest entrance, take a left on main trail, then right onto rocky ridge. I would love to find the northshore stuff there. What vacinity of the park will u guys be riding today? |
| In Palmer.. | Pancho Sep 5, 2001 4:43 PM | | Wow, I never knew about the stuff in Palmer. If you find out where it is, let me know. The ride today got rained out, unfortunatly, so I hope you didn't show up wondering what had happened. The bald guy at Old Town I think is named Brad, he's pretty cool. Let me know if your interested in a group ride down the pipeline trail Saturday. |
