and you thought your carbon fibremud guards were cool

ha ha, related only by 2 wheels and a h-bar. I just found this in motocycle book, and 'backyard' carbon fibre rocks! If someone knows how that rear linkage operates let me know. Oh yeah, the wheels are CF too. I don't know axactly when britten made this, but it's gotta be early 90s, not too bad at 166hp and 303kph from 1000cc for back then. not pretty, but very cool.

that bike was made entirely in the back shed of John Britton , In christchurc New Zealand, Its not pretty because it doesn't have the rest of the fairings on it.It won at daytona against the Harleys and other Vtwins in 96 I think.Sadly john passed away in 1998 of cancer, he truely was an amazing and brilliant man.He made everything for that bike, including the design of the engine and casting it all.They showed a documentry of the building of his bikes shortly after his passing.Makes me proud to be a Kiwi.
