I can get 'em for the same price ( 35US$), need to know which is better for urban, DH, DJ, FR. They are going to wear 2.1in Tioga DH treads. Thanx!

I ran mammoths on my trials rigs, and my HT urban rig. No problems yet...just make sure whatever rim you go for, you get it built up nice, wont do you any good to have a good rim with a crap build. But my vote is for the mammoths...good luck bro.

Thx dude! How much does a great build cost? I can do it myself, but i'm pretty sure it wont be as nice as a shop build. what do you think? Also, which of the front or the rear on a hardtail needs a stronger rim?
521's ruleFrank.

i have 121's on my dh bike and they have lasted 3 years and they are still fine. i have mamoths on my ht. the mamoths seem to get pinch flats more but v brakes are sooo easy to set up. i highly reccomend you get ceramic mavics, they coating looks good even when they are old and stops wear of the rim. ceramic mavic of some decription gets my vote.
