Crnks:Hussefelt SQUARE or LX PLINED: Which is Best/stiffest?Atomic

I bought Shimano LX Splined cranckset about a month ago, and I really like 'em, but I also bought Square taper Truvativ Hussefelt w/ Truvativ square BB yesterday for... 60$CND!! I didn't received the hussy yet, and i'm wondering which are the stiffest, strongest, and the best overall crancks. I'm gonna use a MRP Long Range Patrol too, so what's the best set-up? Thankx,
Unfortunately I haven't heard anything good about hussefeltssirbikealot

The TruVativ Hussefelts crank AND Isis BB are great. They're absolutely THE strongest/toughest crank-spindle combo out there - excluding steel press cranks (ex. Profile, Kona).

If the crank arms or spindle come loose, just use a bit of loc-tight... problem solved.

LX. Without a doubt.

Hollowtech + splined means bags more rigidity than OEM sh*t like Truvativs.

Really.... Well well... Should I keep 'em anyway and use 'em for trashing? At a price like this, it's almost criminal not to buy! Anyway, thanks for all the help. Other advices welcome :)

Being honest, the ISIS Hussefelts might give LX a good run for the money - but I'm willing to bet that the LX provides equal stiffness for a lot less weight.

If something is as durable using less materials where unnecessary, there's no need to drag extra poundage with you!

They get good reviews there.

Bought a set of the Isis version to go with a RF XS Isis BB. Working well so far.
Hussefelts - good value and great crank!!!StinkyDiver

Yeah... I actually own some Hussefelts. Goin on six months with plenty of urban abuse. No problems at all. Nothing has come loose or cracked. I also have XTR cranks on another bike and have used XT in the past. You can't compare Shimano splined cranks to hussefelts, They are'nt even in the same leage. The hussefelts are one huge... fat... Monster crank made for thrashing.
