| I e-mailed em last week about it.... | BostonBullit Nov 4, 2001 4:10 PM | | Scott from SC wrote back and said that it will be available around January and there wasn't a price yet. I also asked about getting the eye-to-eye and stroke length numbers in case I wanted to try to get an Avalanche setup for the 7" of travel but he said that he couldn't give out that info cause they don't recommend or warrenty any shocks other than the Fox and Progressive. :(
FWIW: My LBS just became a SC dealer and they told me last nite that they would have an 02 bullit on the floor in two weeks....

Can you tell me when they will be available to order? >>
--Hey Craig,
No problem.
We hope to have the first batch come in from PS around mid January.
It depends on how many we can get our hands on at first, but as soon as we
fill the backorders for complete bikes (New Bullits ordered with the new
shock), we will start to make available the shocks for upgrades.
<>
--Has not been finalized yet (PS still needs to figure out what it costs for
them to make it) but I'm guessing somewhere in the $275-300 range for the
upgrade kit.
<< What does the kit include?>>
--5th Element rear shock, and the new 2 position shock shuttle.
If you run the 5th Element, you will need to keep the shock shuttle in the
forward position all the time. This is so there is the correct clearance for
the 7 inches of rear wheel travel.
<< Is there any information on the 5th Element shocks available either on the
net or another form?>>
--We have some brochures that we got from Progressive Suspension for
Interbike, but I'm currently trying to get some info in an e-mail friendly
form. I'll let you know as soon as this is available.
<< Do you mind if I post your answer on MTBR's DH page? >>
--Not at all.
As always, feel free to let me know if you ever have any other questions.
