Nov 5, 2001 6:43 AM | | First of all...The CoolMax isnt removeable in the 661. That is unforgiveable in a 109 dollar Dh helmet, in fact I would classify it as "not amazing". When your helmet gets stinky its nice to be able to wash the liner before it gets to the point that you arte breathing in "stank old sock fumes" every time you ride.
Mountain Bike did a comparison of the two helmets and the Vigor won out decisively.
Call Scott at www.go-ride.com. I think he can get the Vigor for under 100 bucks. Team XXL wrecks all the time...on our heads. Ours (SDH and mine) have held up great. We couldnt be happier.
