FlatSpots on Rear rim...(1 post)

FlatSpots on Rear rim...mak90
Nov 5, 2001 7:42 AM
Ok, so i have a vuelta DH disc rim on the rear with 14guage brass nipped spokes etc. Lately i've been doing some urban drops to flat cement no higher than 5 feet, but one of my riding partners noticed harsh wobble in my rear wheel. AFter further inspection, I see i have 2 flat spots on the rim, they are on exact opposite sides. Is there any way to fix this crap, because its really annoying. And as a related question-- HOW TIGHT should my spokes be if i'm going to be doing drops to flat? Should they all be really tight, or what? Thanks for all input!
