| don't worry about it.... | Bulldog Nov 5, 2001 5:40 PM | | It's just that I see alot of people, all with good intentions, that give out incorrect or incomplete information. You caught me at the wrong time, sorry I got a little snippy. I've seen wide ranges of reports for Monsters, from 8.9 (musta been dry) to 10 pounds, but never have I heard anything close to 11. Keep helping people, that's what these boards are about, just make sure you give out the right info. Have fun. |

| don't worry about it.... | Bulldog Nov 5, 2001 10:04 PM | | Most Monsters are about 9.5 pounds, yes. The Avalanche MTN8 really is in that 13-15 pound weight range, it's basically a MX fork. However, Avalanche will soon be producing an 8" race-able fork called the DHF 8.0, that weighs in around 9 pounds. It also cost half as much as the MTN8, $1900 vs $3300. Check avalanchedownhillracing.com for all the details. |
