FSR Elite..good for freeride/slalom?Jay

Hopeing for advise..ive been offered an Elite/Pace rc37 forks/Hope brakes+hubs etc at a really good price, but..im new to full sus and need to know if the frames OK for sustained jumping/slalom/drops etc..its a medium..im5ft10,160 pounds..advise please? ps. are the linkage bushes/bearings durable? Thanx all

what year/model is it? if it's the older('99) Bighit elite model, then yes. if it's a Stumpjumper FSR elite, then no. Specialized has made many different FSR elite's.

thanx..im not sure which one it is-how do you tell? its got 4and a half inch travel and looks pretty solid..i want it for playing on and not Josh Bender style activity (!)...do they last well..
