I too was going to consider the AC, but for the price, it's a big if for freeriding. Some people like their AC's. I guess I'm just really paranoid cause I have to be absolutely sure that my bike is going to hold up in most situations as I don't have the luxury of money, at the moment :) |

Dec 9, 2001 9:37 PM | | i say it depends on what you'll use it for. i've seen two completely destroyed. one was dropped at about 8'. the other mangled while riding a not so technical trail. i wouldn't...can we say main pivot bolt failure (x2)? but ya didn't hear it from me 'cause i ain't one ta gossip... it's a long travel XC frame. |

Dec 10, 2001 6:02 PM | | not too shore what you all have seen... but here in Australia, the AC id is a hard tail, Z5 forks, 26" wheels, not the best components, but an awesome looking frame... laid back seat, (4 manualing...) from what I have heard around town, it's a limited edition, maybe only 50 in the country, and no broachers, or any word on any of the Giant sites... if I make the purchase I will post some pics... |
